Bail has reportedly been paid in full for MP Mykola Tyshchenko, who is suspected of soliciting an unlawful benefit, laundering funds, and submitting false declarations. This was reported by Suspilne, citing the MP's lawyer. The bail amounts to UAH 10 million — the preventive measure set by the HACC investigating judge on July 3.
The HACC press office told Transparency International Ukraine that the funds had not yet reached the court's account.
Tyshchenko is suspected of soliciting a bribe in exchange for not interfering with certain call centers, laundering the proceeds, and submitting false information in his asset declaration regarding assets allegedly gifted to him by his ex-wife.
UPDATE: On the morning of July 10, the HACC press office confirmed that the full bail amount for Mykola Tyshchenko had been received in the court's account.
