On August 11, 2022, the HACC Appeals Chamber dismissed the prosecutor’s appeal against the decision of the investigative judge not to suspend former Vice Prime Minister Oleksii Chernyshov.
The prosecutor asked for the decision to be overturned insisting it was illegal. The defense objected, noting that Chernyshov had been retired since July 17, 2025, so there were no grounds for granting the complaint.
