NABU and SAPO have accused Borys Plotnitskyi, the former head of the Western Economic Court of Appeal, of soliciting a $1 million bribe from a representative of a private company.

Plotnitskyi had held this position since 2018 but was dismissed by the High Council of Justice in August 2023. He was also mentioned in petitions for interim measures related to other defendants in the case, Artymovych and Yurkevych.

As a reminder, according to the investigation, these individuals allegedly promised to deliver “desired” rulings on cases under consideration in the Western Economic Court of Appeal and even prevent the contract killing of the whistleblower.
