Skorokhod Case: HACC Extends Obligations for Two Months

On April 1, 2026, the HACC held a hearing on extending the obligations imposed on MP Anna Skorokhod, who is suspected of bribery extortion. The defense contested all arguments regarding the circumstances of the offense and Skorokhod's alleged ties to co-suspects Andrii Stavenko and Serhii Kapatsyn.

The judge partially granted the prosecutor's motion and extended Skorokhod's obligations for two months.

Skorokhod is required to:

  • appear before the investigator, prosecutor, and court on demand
  • not leave Ukraine without permission from the investigator, prosecutor, or court
  • notify the investigator, prosecutor, and court of any change of residence or place of work
  • refrain from communicating with Kapatsyn and Stavenok
  • surrender travel documents for safekeeping.

On December 9, 2025, the HACC imposed bail of UAH 3 million and ordered Skorokhod to wear an electronic bracelet. On January 8, 2026, however, the HACC Appeals Chamber modified the preventive measure — raising bail to UAH 4 million while lifting the bracelet requirement.

MP Skorokhod is implicated in a case involving the alleged extortion of a bribe in exchange for the purported imposition of NSDC sanctions. According to the investigation, the suspects, including Skorokhod, demanded $250,000 from a representative of a private company, claiming they could arrange for NSDC sanctions to be imposed on a rival firm.
