Today, the HACC held the first preparatory hearing in the case of Tetiana Krupa, former head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC.

At the start of the hearing, two defense attorneys moved to adjourn it. They said they had only recently joined the case and had not yet reviewed its materials. The judge denied both motions.

Another defense attorney moved to adjourn, citing a motion filed with the HACC Appeals Chamber to transfer the case to the Khmelnytskyi City-District Court. The judge denied this one as well. Disagreeing with the court's position, the attorney orally moved to recuse the judge.

Tetiana Krupa, former head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC and former member of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council, is charged with unlawful enrichment of UAH 160 million, failure to declare, and legalizing funds, with the assistance of her husband, Volodymyr, and son, Oleksandr Krupa.
