On April 22, 2025, the HACC approved plea agreements in the land appropriation case in the Vinnytsia region. Liudmyla Mazurkevych, secretary of the Luka-Meleshkivska Village Council, and her accomplice, Dmytro Stepaniuk, who took possession of the land in question, were found guilty.

Mazurkevych and Stepaniuk were sentenced to four years in prison, but under the plea agreement, they were released from serving the sentence and instead received one year of probation. They must also pay a fine of UAH 8,500. In addition, they are required to periodically report to the authorized probation body and inform it of any changes in their place of residence, work, or study.

Both must compensate the damage caused to the community: Mazurkevych is to pay UAH 219,000, and Stepaniuk — UAH 617,000.

In addition, Liudmyla Mazurkevych is prohibited from holding positions involving organizational or administrative functions in private legal entities.
