The defense requested the return of Kormyshkina's passports for international travel, claiming she needed a week of treatment in Austria. Earlier, in October 2024, the HACC imposed an interim measure on her in the form of a personal guarantee and ordered her and her husband to surrender their passports for international travel.
It is worth reminding that according to the NABU, in 2021-2022, the MP acquired assets worth more than UAH 20 million.
The suspect stated that in 2023, she was diagnosed with a specific illness, which she is treating at a specialized clinic. However, she will require surgery in the future, which, according to her, cannot be performed in Ukraine.
The prosecutor saw no evidence to suggest that treatment is impossible in Ukraine. He also highlighted the risk of the suspect obstructing criminal proceedings through her connections.
Specifically, detectives recorded a concerning conversation between the MP's husband and a patrol officer. Kormyshkin requested his wife's release without a formal report, stating, “Just give a verbal warning. We all understand how this can be handled. Let my wife go; she's just a small, modest MP. Let her go.”
Given all the circumstances, the investigating judge decided not to change the interim measure for the MP.
