HACC Sets Bail for Five MPs Suspected of Taking Bribes for Voting
HACC Sets Bail for Five MPs Suspected of Taking Bribes for Voting

An investigating judge of the HACC applied interim measures to five Members of Parliament suspected of systematically receiving unlawful benefits in exchange for voting on draft laws and resolutions.

Two MPs were assigned bail of UAH 20 million each. The other three were assigned bail of UAH 40 million, UAH 30 million, and UAH 16.6 million, respectively.

According to media reports, the suspects are Servant of the People faction MPs Yurii Kisieľ, Yevhen Pyvovarov, Ihor Nehulevskyi, Olha Savchenko, and Mykhailo Laba.

The MPs’ actions are legally classified under Article 28(3) and Article 368(4) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
