On June 18, the HACC found Mykhailo Holovko guilty of accepting a bribe in the amount of UAH 612,000 and sentenced him to nine years in prison with confiscation of property.
The SAPO had accused Holovko and his deputy, Ihor Haiduk, of demanding a UAH 612,000 bribe from a local businessman in exchange for signing acceptance certificates for construction and repair works on infrastructure facilities. The suspects were detained in June 2023.
The HACC also found Holovko guilty of illegal possession of ammunition.
