On May 15, 2025, the HACC extended the detention period of the former head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC, Tetiana Krupa, until July 13, 2025, inclusive.

As an alternative to detention, the court set bail, reducing it from UAH 130 million to UAH 112 million. It should be noted that the initial bail amount was UAH 500 million.

If the bail is posted, the suspect will be subject to the following obligations:

  • appear when summoned by the investigator, prosecutor, or court;

  • not leave Khmelnytskyi without permission from the investigator, prosecutor, or court;

  • refrain from communicating with MSEC employees who applied for medical and social examination regarding matters related to the circumstances of the criminal proceeding;

  • notify the investigator, prosecutor, or court of any change in residence;

  • surrender her international passport.

The NABU suspects the head of the Khmelnytskyi Khmelnytskyi Regional Medical Expert Sanitary Commission (MSEC), a member of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council from the Servant of the People party, Tetiana Krupa, of illegal enrichment. According to the investigation, she acquired assets worth UAH 137 million.

Krupa is charged under Article 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. She is also involved in the investigation of criminal offenses under Article 190(5), Article 209(2), and Article 366-2(2) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Law enforcement initiated criminal proceedings over the illegal granting of disability status to men seeking to evade military service.
