On November 4, 2024, the High Anti-Corruption Court partially granted the motion of the SAPO prosecutor and changed interim measures imposed on the defendants in the case on the sale of municipal land at an undervalued price in Mukachevo.
An interim measure in the form of detention with an alternative of UAH 10 million bail was imposed on Serhii Fil, one of the founders of Binom-Group LLC, which carried out land valuation. Previously, he repeatedly violated his procedural obligations, so now he might end up in the pre-trial detention center, and his previous bail (UAH 900,000) was collected into the national budget.
Mykhailo Lanio, head of the Mukachevo District Council, is no longer obliged to wear an electronic bracelet. However, he is still under several restrictions; in particular, he cannot leave the Zakarpattia region without permission, and he is obliged to refrain from communicating with suspects and witnesses about the circumstances described in the suspicion notice.
