KCSA Deputy Chairman Petro Olenych and Kyiv Council Deputy Olena Marchenko, a member of the Permanent Commission on Architecture, Urban Planning, and Land Relations, have been released from pre-trial detention.
The HACC press service reported that bail of UAH 15 million for Olenych and UAH 50 million for Marchenko was posted last week. This served as the basis for their release.
According to investigators, KCSA officials were involved in an illegal land privatization scheme in the capital for construction and attempted to establish full control over decision-making on land distribution and granting of land rights.
NABU and SAPO notified ten persons of suspicion, including businessman Denys Komarnytskyi, the former co-chairman of the Leonid Chernovetskyi Bloc faction in the Kyiv City Council. He is currently wanted.
