On July 3, the HACC Appeals Chamber overturned the ruling of a HACC investigating judge that had set bail for suspect Alla Kyrylenko — wife of Pavlo Kyrylenko — at UAH 9 million. 

The Appeals Chamber rejected the prosecutor’s appeal seeking to increase the bail amount to UAH 11 million and partially upheld the defense’s appeal. 

The panel issued a new ruling setting bail for the suspect within the limits established by the Criminal Procedure Code, specifically at just over UAH 242,000.

The NABU and the SAPO suspect Alla Kyrylenko of aiding and abetting her husband, the Head of the AMCU, Pavlo Kyrylenko, in illicit enrichment of more than UAH 72 million.
