On June 9, 2026, the NABU summoned businessman Kostiantyn Zhevaho to receive the indictment and register of pre-trial investigation materials on June 16 at 10:00.
The oligarch is currently in Paris, where he has been since 2019. Failure to appear without valid reason may result in a financial penalty under Article 139 of the Criminal Procedure Code — from 0.25 to 0.5 of the subsistence minimum (UAH 832 to UAH 1,664).
It should be noted that the suspect's non-appearance will not prevent the indictment from being submitted to court, as a special pre-trial investigation is being conducted in the case and the summons notice has been published on NABU's website.
In October 2025, the HACC Appeals Chamber authorized a special pre-trial investigation against Zhevaho. That same month, the NABU announced the completion of the pre-trial investigation.
The NABU and the SAPO suspect oligarch Kostiantyn Zhevaho of bribing Supreme Court judges — including then-Chief Justice Vsevolod Kniaziev — in exchange for a ruling in favor of a company under his control. According to the investigation, the total amount of the unlawful benefit was $2.7 million. Kniaziev has pleaded guilty and provided incriminating testimony.
