The NABU and the SAPO have exposed Yuliia Tymoshenko, leader of the Batkivshchyna parliamentary faction, for allegedly offering bribes to a number of MPs and have served her with a notice of suspicion. SAPO’s spokesperson confirmed to Suspilne that the suspect is indeed Yuliia Tymoshenko.

NABU’s press service reported that the suspect initiated negotiations with certain MPs regarding the provision of bribes in exchange for “desired” votes, with such “cooperation” envisaged on a regular basis.

According to the NABU, these actions followed the exposure in December 2025 of instances in which MPs received illicit benefits for adopting decisions on draft laws.

The NABU also released a video featuring excerpts of recordings that allegedly capture Tymoshenko’s relevant conversations with another Member of Parliament.

The actions of the parliamentary faction leader have been qualified under Article 369(4) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for imprisonment for a term of five to ten years, with or without confiscation of property.
