On October 13, the High Anti-Corruption Court partially granted a NABU detective’s motion and extended the detention of Ihor Myroniuk, while reducing the bail alternative from UAH 85 million to UAH 25 million, the court’s press service reports.
If bail is posted, Myroniuk will be required to:
- appear before law enforcement and the investigating judge whenever summoned;
- not leave Kyiv and Kyiv Region without permission from law enforcement and the court;
- notify NABU and SAPO of any change of residence;
- refrain from contact with individuals specified by the court;
- surrender his passports for foreign travel;
- wear an electronic monitoring bracelet.
According to investigators, Myroniuk received money from another suspect, Dmytro Basov, as part of the “Barrier” scheme, and passed it on to a back office in an apartment linked to former pro-Russian MP Andrii Derkach.
