The HACC has eased the preventive measure for Ihor Myroniuk, a former adviser to the ex-energy minister. The investigating judge granted the motion and placed Myroniuk under round-the-clock house arrest.
The ruling was prompted by the expiry of the maximum period of pretrial detention allowed during an investigation. Myroniuk has spent longer in custody than any other suspect in the case: almost a year. He must now stay at home under house arrest and comply with the obligations imposed on him, including wearing an electronic monitoring bracelet.
Earlier, on October 13, 2026, the HACC kept Myroniuk in detention but lowered the alternative bail from UAH 85 million to UAH 25 million.
According to investigators, as part of the “Barrier” scheme, Ihor Myroniuk received money from another suspect and passed it on to a back office in an apartment linked to former pro-Russian MP Andrii Derkach.
