Businessman Vadym Stolar did not post UAH 300 million in bail within the deadline set by the court, the HACC press service told us.

On September 11, a HACC investigating judge imposed bail as a preventive measure on MP Vadym Stolar as part of Themis Operation.

Investigators allege that he was involved in setting up a criminal organization and in the raider takeover of two companies worth UAH 248 million, as well as in preparing to seize real estate worth over UAH 207 million.

In such a case, the law allows the prosecution to seek a more severe preventive measure.
