On January 27, 2026, the HACC ruled to close the preparatory hearing and schedule a trial on the merits in the case of MP Mykola Zadorozhnii.

The case will be heard by a panel of judges in open court.

The court also dismissed the defense complaints against a number of NABU detectives’ procedural rulings and partially granted the defense motion to request documents from departments of the National Police of Ukraine.

The next hearing is scheduled for February 23 at 12:00.

The NABU and the SAPO accuse MP Mykola Zadorozhnii of soliciting a bribe from the head of a village council in the Sumy region and, together with accomplices, organizing its transfer.
