On October 31, the HACC partially granted the prosecutor's motion to extend Serhii Kopystyra's duties until December 23. He will continue to have the following obligations:
- arrive when summoned by the prosecutor and the court
- not leave Kyiv and the Kyiv region without the permission of the court
- report to the court any change in his place of residence or work
- surrender his passports for traveling abroad
- refrain from communicating with witnesses.
The prosecutor highlighted the risk of Kopystyra fleeing from the court and the potential for him to influence witnesses, given the seriousness of the crime. In addition, the HACC extended the duties to other participants in the case, Oleh Tatarenko and Alla Sushon.
Let us remind you that on September 27, 2024, the HACC reduced Kopystyra's bail to UAH 90 million. The developer is suspected of attempting to bribe former Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration Oleksandr Kubrakov.
