On April 28, 2026, the HACC investigating judge set a deadline of May 24, 2026 for MP Yuliia Tymoshenko and her defense counsel to complete review of the pre-trial investigation materials.
Once the deadline expires, SAPO will be able to submit the indictment to court.
The pre-trial investigation in the Tymoshenko bribery case was completed on April 8, 2026.
At the hearing, a NABU detective noted that Tymoshenko has not appeared to examine the materials a single time, and argued that the defense is deliberately stalling — despite having only five volumes left to go through.
The NABU and the SAPO suspect Yuliia Tymoshenko, leader of the Batkivshchyna parliamentary faction in the Verkhovna Rada, of offering bribes to fellow MPs in order to influence the outcomes of parliamentary votes.
