On August 21, 2026, the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) ordered a preventive measure against former MP Maksym Mykytas in the form of detention with an alternative bail of UAH 30 million.

The preventive measure is valid for two months. If bail is posted, Mykytas will be subject to a number of obligations:

• appear before the detective, prosecutor, or court upon request;
• notify the investigator, prosecutor, or court of any change of residence or employment;
• not leave the city of Kyiv;
• refrain from communicating with other suspects and witnesses in the case;
• surrender his passport for international travel;
• wear an electronic monitoring bracelet.
