This decision was made by the HACC investigating judge following the consideration of the SAPO prosecutor's motion to change the interim measure.

Earlier, the HACC investigating judge refused to take the MP into custody and set a bail of ₴100 million, which he did not pay for over five days. During the appeal review, Bondar insisted that he could not afford such a large sum, initially requesting that the bail be set at ₴5–7 million and later reducing his request to ₴3–5 million, stating that he “does not want to beg or be dependent on big businessmen.”

Although the HACC AC confirmed that the bail set for him is legal, the fact that he failed to pay the ₴100 million seems to have been the basis for his detention.
