On January 19, 2026, the HACC partially granted the defense motion and reduced the bail for Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, from UAH 25 million to UAH 20 million.

Kyrylenko’s counsel argued that he has been properly complying with his procedural obligations, and therefore the bail should be reduced. The prosecutor objected, saying that, in their view, this compliant behaviour is precisely ensured by the current bail amount.

The court also granted the prosecutor’s motion and extended the additional obligations imposed on Alla and Pavlo Kyrylenko for another two months. The court refused the defense motion to lift the obligation on Alla Kyrylenko not to leave Ukraine without the court’s permission.

The court then continued examining the prosecution’s evidence.

As reported earlier, the SAPO is prosecuting Pavlo Kyrylenko for illicit enrichment in the amount of more than UAH 72 million. Following the completion of the investigation in this case, the NABU and the SAPO served Kyrylenko with a new notice of suspicion for failure to declare assets for 2024, and his wife Alla Kyrylenko was notified of suspicion of aiding and abetting illicit enrichment.
