The High Council of Justice has suspended four judges of the Kyiv Appellate Court: Viacheslav Dziubin, Yurii Slyva, Ihor Palenyk, and Viktor Hlynianyi.

This suspension will last until the conclusion of the consideration of their case on its merits or until it is closed.

It is worth mentioning that according to the prosecution, Judge Viacheslav Dziubin received USD 35,000 in illegal benefits for lifting the arrest on two unique An-74TK-100 aircraft in the case against former Motor-Sich head Viacheslav Bohuslaiev. Of this amount, Dziubin kept USD 10,000 for himself, while the remaining USD 25,000 was for three other judges of the Kyiv Appellate Court: Yurii Slyva, Ihor Palenyk, and Viktor Hlynianyi.

Dziubin acted as an intermediary and received money from Tetiana Polishchuk, a representative of Constanta airline. The most interesting discoveries were made during secret investigative actions. Judge Palenyk, in an effort to transfer his share of the bribe to his colleagues without leaving unnecessary traces, resorted to a clever scheme: he placed the money in a coffee bag and a branded plastic bag from an internet service provider.

Recently, on September 25, the HACC held the first preparatory court session in this case. We are closely monitoring the proceedings.
