According to Roman Maselko, a member of the HCJ, on October 23, the Second Disciplinary Chamber of the High Council of Justice decided to hold four judges of the Kyiv Court of Appeal disciplinary liable and recommend their dismissal.
This refers to Viacheslav Dziubin, Ihor Palenyk, Viktor Hlynianyi, and Yurii Slyva.
"The grounds for the disciplinary case, according to Maselko, were the circumstances established in criminal proceedings in which these judges are accused of receiving $35,000 in bribes in November 2023.
Thus, the HCJ has made a final decision regarding these participants in the high-profile corruption case. Prior to this, the Council had repeatedly decided to suspend the four Kyiv Court of Appeal judges from office.
It should be noted that, according to the indictment, Judge Viacheslav Dziubin received a $35,000 bribe to lift the attachment on two unique An-74TK-100 aircraft in the case of former Motor Sich head Viacheslav Bohuslaiev.
This case is currently being considered by the HACC, with the first preparatory court session held on September 25. We are closely monitoring the progress of the court proceedings.
