On the morning of May 18, 2026, former Presidential Office Head Andrii Yermak was released from pre-trial detention after his bail of UAH 140 million was posted in full — the preventive measure HACC had set on May 14.
Speaking to journalists after his release, Yermak said he did not know exactly who had posted the bail, but that it had been done by “many people,” as reported by Suspilne.
Following the bail payment, Yermak must comply with his obligations: appear before detectives, prosecutors, and the court; not leave Kyiv without their permission; notify them of any change of residence or place of work; refrain from communicating with other suspects and witnesses in the case; surrender his international passports; and wear an electronic monitoring bracelet.
Bail has not yet been posted for the other suspects, HACC's press service confirmed to Transparency International Ukraine. They are: Sunny Shore cooperative co-owner Hennadii Opalchuk, cooperative head Serhii Siranchuk, Bloom Development director Liliia Lysenko, and Chernyshov's assistant Maryna Medvedieva — with bail amounts of UAH 10.6 million, UAH 20 million, UAH 9.9 million, and UAH 15 million respectively. They have five days from the date of the ruling to post bail. Should they fail to do so, HACC may reconsider their preventive measures.
