The HACC AC dismissed the defense's appeal against the HACC ruling, which imposed round-the-clock house arrest on Serhii Tyshchenko as an interim measure.

Tyshchenko is required to remain at his place of residence in the Kyiv region and must, among other conditions, wear an electronic bracelet. He was released from custody on February 12, after serving the maximum 12-month  pre-trial detention period.

The defense has requested easing of the interim measure, arguing that 24/7 house arrest hinders investigative actions and attendance at court sessions. Tyshchenko also stated that he needs to restore his business, meet with banks, and communicate with his defense lawyers.

The prosecutor objected, noting that Tyshchenko is also a British citizen, which presents a risk of him fleeing abroad.

Tyshchenko, along with former MP Pashynskyi, is suspected of involvement in the embezzlement of oil products from the Odesa refinery linked to oligarch Kurchenko. We are referring to raw materials valued at over UAH 960 million. The pre-trial investigation has been completed, and the case materials will soon be transferred to the court
