On January 22, 2025, the HACC partially granted the prosecutor's motion to extend the obligations imposed on Tatarenko, who is accused of complicity in the developer Kopystyra case. At the same time, the court reduced Tatarenko's bail from UAH 20 million to UAH 19 million and removed his electronic monitoring device.

The defense requested that the bail be reduced to UAH 242,200, arguing that the risks cited by the prosecutor were formal and irrelevant and that the bail amount should be proportionate to the circumstances of the case.

According to a letter from NABU to the Main Directorate of the National Police, it was revealed that the electronic bracelet was not used for Tatarenko due to a lack of available functional equipment.

We previously reported on the acute shortage of electronic bracelets for monitoring suspects and accused individuals. In 2024, no electronic bracelets were procured, but the National Police of Ukraine is taking additional measures to equip the police with this monitoring equipment.

It is worth reminding that according to the prosecution, between August and November 2023, Serhii Kopystyra offered Oleksandr Kubrakov, then Minister of Communities, a kickback of 2% of the area of a residential complex planned for construction on the ministry's land plot, which is estimated to be between 4,200 and 4,900 sq.m.
