On April 29, 2026, the HACC investigating judge partially granted a detective's motion and extended the interim measure for Ihor Myroniuk — known as “Rocket” — a suspect in the Energoatom case. The court also set bail at UAH 112 million as an alternative.
Previously, the HACC Appeals Chamber had increased increased Myroniuk's bail to UAH 126 million.
Operation Midas became public in November 2025, when NABU and SAPO exposed a criminal organization comprising current and former officials who, according to the investigation, built a large-scale corruption scheme to influence the operations of strategic state-owned enterprises — most notably Energoatom — for the purpose of obtaining unlawful benefits and superprofits.
