The NABU and the SAPO suspect the former MP Arkadii Kornatskyi of unlawfully obtaining almost UAH 900,000 in compensation for renting a hotel room.

Arkadii Kornatskyi is a member of Ukraine’s parliament of the eighth convocation from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc.

The pre-trial investigation found that between 2014 and 2019, Kornatskyi obtained compensation from the budget for renting the hotel room, despite having property in Kyiv. He concealed the fact of obtaining unjustified UAH 936,000 in compensation from the budget.

The HACC is currently hearing the case. Arkadii Kornatskyi is charged with Article 364, part 2, of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
