Bail was posted for former Head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov, who had been taken into custody again on April 24. As a result, he was released from the pretrial detention facility. The news was reported by journalist Oleh Novikov.

Roman Nasirov, is accused of involvement in Onyshchenko's “gas case,” in which he and an accomplice issued an illegal order to pay monetary obligations in installments for the use of mineral resources for mining and evaded paying tax debt in installments. The state is likely to have suffered losses of about UAH 2 billion.

Nasirov was taken into custody again due to a failed attempt to mobilize into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to SAPO, the former official intended to use mobilization as a means to halt the criminal proceedings against him. After hearing arguments from both sides, HACC judges decided to place the defendant in custody with the option of bail, which was increased from UAH 27 million to UAH 40 million.
